An even safer and more convenient way to confirm your online payments with the Aik mBanking application
From June 18, 2026, you will confirm your online payments with payment cards through the mBanking application, instead of the previous SMS code. All you need is an active mBanking application and a stable internet connection, and see detailed instructions below.
If you haven't already, please download and activate the Aik mBanking application and use its latest version (you can update the application on Google Play, App Store or AppGallery-Huawei digital stores).

How do you confirm payment online?

Merchant website
You start the payment process as before, on the merchant's website. When you fill in the necessary data for payment or choose the desired, already saved card with which you will make the payment, you confirm the payment in the Aik mBanking application ("Token" option, then the "Request Confirmation" option).

Confirmation in the application
A push notification from the Aik mBanking application will arrive on your mobile phone, which also informs you that you can confirm the payment from the mBanking application. If it does not arrive immediately in the bottom menu of the Aik mBanking application, before logging in, select the "Token" option, and then the "Request confirmation" option, where you will see payment details (selected card, merchant name, amount, currency and payment date). If all the data is correct, click the "Confirm" button.

Payment verification
After selecting the "Confirm" option, a payment verification window will appear. You approve (verify) the payment by entering the mPIN code or biometrics (depending on your chosen method of logging into the application) within 180 seconds.

Merchant website
After successfully approving the request, some merchants require you to click on the "CONTINUE" option, while others will automatically complete the payment process, so it is important to return to the merchant's website and check.
