An even safer and more convenient way to confirm your online payments with the AikBank mBanking app
From June 18, 2026, you will confirm your online payments with payment cards through the AikBank mBanking app, instead of the previous SMS code. All you need is an active mBanking application and a stable internet connection. Bellow you can see detailed step-by-step instructions.
If you haven't already, please download and activate the AikBank mBanking app and use its latest version (you can update the application on Google Play, App Store or AppGallery-Huawei stores).

How do you confirm online card payments?

Merchant website
On the merchant's website, you enter information or select a saved card, then confirm the payment.

Confirmation in the app
By logging into the AikBank app, a payment confirmation request will automatically open. If you use mPIN for logging in, you can confirm the request before logging in by selecting the "Requests" option in the bottom menu. The payment confirmation request will also arrive via push notification, if you have allowed the receipt of such notifications.

Payment verification
A payment verification window will appear. Enter your mPIN or use biometrics (fingerprint/facial recognition) within 3 minutes to finally approve the payment.

Merchant website
After successfully approving the request, you need to return to the merchant's page, because with some merchants you need to click "CONTINUE" to make the payment, while with others the process ends automatically.
